<p>In this paper, a molecularly imprinted polymer with good benzopyrene adsorption performance and a PDA@Mn-ZIF-8 nanozyme with high catalytic activity were synthesized. The molecularly imprinted polymer was used as the biomimetic antibody, while the PDA@Mn-ZIF-8 was used as the marker. A novel direct competitive biomimetic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (BELISA) method was established for the sensitive detection of benzopyrene. Under the optimal conditions, the detection limit (LOD and IC<sub>15</sub>) and sensitivity (IC<sub>50</sub>) of the BELISA method for benzopyrene were 0.52&#xa0;µg L<sup>−1</sup> and 65.64&#xa0;µg L<sup>−1</sup>, respectively. This method was successfully used to detect benzopyrene in chicken and pork samples, with recovery rates ranging from 89.12 to 105.26% for chicken and 92.83 to 112.31% for pork. The contents of benzopyrene in sausages and grilled lamb samples were determined by BELISA and HPLC, and no significant differences found between the results of the two methods. This work offers a new, rapid, and accurate method for the detection of benzopyrene in foods.</p>
