<p>Human cyber resilience has increasingly been recognized as a psychologically grounded capacity shaped by individuals’ beliefs, emotions, and adaptive resources rather than solely by technical skills. This study aimed to examine the structural relationships between psychological resilience, general self-efficacy, and human cyber resilience, while also adapting and validating the Human Cyber-Resilience Scale (HCRS) in a new cultural setting. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational design, the study included 284 university students and young adults recruited online from various regions of Türkiye. The adaptation followed a rigorous procedure including translation, back-translation, expert evaluation, pilot testing, and psychometric validation. Both exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses confirmed the original four-factor structure (Self-Efficacy, Learning and Growth, Social Support, and Helplessness) and demonstrated satisfactory reliability. In addition, convergent and discriminant validity were established based on standard Structural Equation Model (SEM) criteria, including Composite Reliability (CR), Average Variance Extracted (AVE), and the Fornell–Larcker criterion. Correlational analyses revealed that human cyber resilience was positively associated with general self-efficacy, psychological resilience, and cybersecurity awareness. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) further supported an indirect association between psychological resilience and human cyber resilience through general self-efficacy. These findings suggest that cyber resilience reflects an interplay of cognitive, emotional, and social processes rather than technical competence alone. The validated Turkish version of the HCRS provides a reliable measurement framework for examining the individual psychological dimension of cyber resilience and offers practical implications for the design of psychologically informed interventions aimed at supporting digital well-being.</p>
