<p>In order to adapt to the rapidly changing market environment and seize the opportunities for digital transformation, organizations urgently need to change. This study based on the social exchange theory and broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions, to analyze strengths-based interventions in human resource management policies on employee proactive change behavior and the underlying mechanism. Through a four-wave data collection involving 360 employees, this study examined the impact of strengths-based psychological climates on proactive change behavior. The results indicate that strengths-based psychological climates positively influence proactive change behavior. Gratitude and workplace spirituality play a chain mediating role in the impact of strengths-based psychological climates on proactive change behavior. This study, for the first time, discusses the critical role of strengths-based interventions in human resource management practices in organizational change, uncovers the formation and application of “appreciation for being recognized” in contemporary organizational management.</p>
