<p>The article analyzes the impact of smartwatches equipped with biofeedback functions on stress and anxiety levels among Chinese student-athletes. The study involved 100 participants, who were randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used smartwatches to monitor physiological indicators such as heart rate, stress levels, and sleep quality, while the control group did not have access to smartwatches. Standardized tests were employed for data collection: the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) was used to assess state and trait anxiety, and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) measured stress levels. Statistical analysis was conducted using paired and independent t-tests to examine pre- and post-test differences within each group. The results indicated a statistically significant reduction in perceived stress and state anxiety (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.01) in the experimental group. In contrast, no changes were observed in the control group, including in stress levels. Furthermore, Pearson correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between stress and anxiety levels before and after the intervention. The study contributes to the literature by demonstrating that biofeedback technologies can serve as effective tools for managing stress and anxiety among student-athletes.</p>
