<p>This study explores through quantitative methodology, specifically the survey method, the perceptions of the Lebanese younger generation regarding the LGBTQIA+ community. It mainly focuses on the attitudes that young Lebanese people, aged between 18 and 24&#xa0;years, have towards LGBTQIA+ individuals and the influence of exposure to LGBTQIA+ content on social media platforms, specifically TikTok. The study presents insights into participants’ perceptions of LGBTQIA+ individuals, gender, and sexuality. While participants exhibit both positive and negative attitudes towards LGBTQIA+ individuals, exposure to diverse LGBTQIA+ content on TikTok significantly shapes these attitudes. This study emphasizes the importance of online platforms like TikTok that facilitate more open conversations around sensitive societal, cultural, and religious issues such as sexuality, gender, and the LGBTQIA+ community, especially among youths from conservative and traditional backgrounds. The authors believe that such conversations open actual and bigger societal spaces of acceptance and tolerance that may eventually lead to legal reforms.</p>
