<p>In empirical social sciences, data visualization is routine and expected. In the theoretical side of social sciences, visualization is a rarity. Whether empirical or theoretical, visualization streamlines the communication of research process, findings, and core conjectures. In this paper, we develop a new embedded relational method for visualizing social theories. The method combines 2 × 2 tables with relational arrow diagrams to lay out many of the key elements and predictions of a social theory. To illustrate its utility, we apply the method to the literature that theorizes Asian-Black-White racial group relations. The visualization diagrams intuitively outline what the theories say as well as what the theories miss. Accordingly, the visualization method furnishes opportunities for theoretical clarification and innovation. In light of these benefits, we advocate adding embedded relational diagrams to the theorizing toolkit.</p>
