<p>To explore the nature of stalking where a familial and/or domestic relationship exists, data was obtained from the Connecticut UCR-NIBRS database for family and domestic violence (FDV) from 2019 to 2023, representative of 548 cases of stalking statewide. Various aspects of familial and domestic stalking incidents were analyzed, providing critical insight into victim and perpetrator characteristics, the use of protective orders, the incidence of physical harm, and the mis(use)/abuse of substances as they relate to FDV-stalking. Additionally, comparisons between FDV-stalking and FDV-non-stalking arrests are made to provide context. The limitations of the data are discussed, and recommendations for future research and recording of this interpersonal violent offense are made.</p>
