摘要

Objective

To analyze correlation between CRS and sleep disorders and to evaluate relationship of severity of CRS with occurrence of sleep disorders.

Methods

The present prospective study was conducted in our tertiary care centre from April 2023 to April 2024 on 500 diagnosed CRS patients as per EPOS Criteria. The severity of CRS was identified using VAS scale. Sleep disorders were evaluated using Basic Nordic Sleep Questionnaire and Epworth Sleepiness scale.

Results

Patients with more severe CRS reported progressively worse sleep measures. 40% of severe CRS patients had ESS >10 compared to 10% in mild CRS (p<0.001).

Conclusion

Poor sleep quality is prevalent among CRS subjects and correlates with CRS severity.
