<p>Paranasal sinus mucoceles are cystic masses. They are relatively rare and occur most frequently in the fronto-ethmoidal region. Our series includes 9 men and 6 women with a sex ratio of 3/2 and a mean age of 46 years. The frontal site is most affected (54%), followed by the ethmoido-frontal site (26%). The most common presenting symptoms of mucoceles were ophthalmological, with palpebral swelling in 80% of patients. Headaches were present in 53% and rhinological symptoms mainly nasal obstruction in 40%. CT scan was performed in all patients and allowed to establish the diagnosis. Magnetic resonance imaging was performed in only 5 patients. Treatment consists of an endoscopic procedure in 46,7% of cases; combined approach in 33,3% of cases and external approach in 20% of cases. Recurrences have not been detected during a 3 year follow up.</p>
