Atypical Skull Base Osteomyelitis and it’s Thorough Analysis- A Case Report
摘要
Atypical skull-base osteomyelitis is a rare disease which involves infection of the skull base which does not usually have an otogenic cause [1]. It can be idiopathic or secondary to regional infections of the sinus, deep face, or oral cavity [2]. Patients may only have headache and cranial neuropathies [3]. In this clinical report, a patient with similar complaints underwent radiological investigations and vigorous medical management.
