<p>Giant lipomas are rare, benign cause of painless neck mass. We present the case of a 58-year-old man with a giant lipoma of the left posterior neck. Surgical excision confirmed the diagnosis of angiolipoma. A discussion of lipomas and a literature review regarding surgical intervention follows.</p>

Giant lipomas are rare, benign cause of painless neck mass. We present the case of a 58-year-old man with a giant lipoma of the left posterior neck. Surgical excision confirmed the diagnosis of angiolipoma. A discussion of lipomas and a literature review regarding surgical intervention follows.
