摘要

Benign squamous papilloma of the external auditory canal (EAC) is a rare and often under-recognized entity, posing significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This condition can mimic more common ear pathologies such as otitis externa or chronic otitis media, leading to delays in diagnosis and treatment. Although the tumor is benign, its locally invasive nature necessitates early detection and complete excision to prevent recurrence. This case report underscores the importance of considering rare conditions like benign squamous papilloma for optimal management and outcomes.
