<p>Spinal cord injury patients suffer from many problems, including sensory-motor disorders, muscle spasms, hyperreflexia. Meanwhile, less common symptoms such as dysarthria and dysphagia have also been reported. Therefore, the main goal of this research was to examine the impact of rehabilitation interventions on their speech and swallowing status while screening for dysarthria and dysphagia in adult cervical spinal cord injury patients. This was a cross-sectional study with a descriptive analytical method before and after the intervention. Non-probability sampling was available from the cervical and upper thoracic spinal cord injury patients who were referred to Rofiedeh rehabilitation hospital for rehabilitation services with the diagnosis of spinal cord injury. In this study, 22 patients (16 men and 6 women) were examined. SCI patients were referred to a speech and language pathologist (SLP) by a physical medicine specialist for dysarthria and dysphagia screening. By using RDA and MASA tests, dysarthria and dysphagia patients were studied and examined before and after the intervention. Of the methods are Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), Myofunctional therapy (MFT), Oral motor exercise (OME), Diadochokinetic rate to increase the inhaling and exhaling capacity of the respiratory system and strengthen the movements of the muscles of the speech organs and correct articulation disorders in the field of loudness, voice quality, prosody and speech intelligible was used. The results of chi-square test show that after the intervention, all the factors investigated by Chi-square test had statistically significant changes. The results of non-parametric Wilcoxon test analysis show that the MASA score increased significantly (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.001) after the intervention. Targeted multispecialty rehabilitation interventions (physical medicine specialists, speech and language pathologists, and neurologists) in spinal cord injury patients strengthen the respiratory muscles (increase the capacity of inhalation and exhalation) and increase the speech intelligible and swallowing of these patients.</p>
