<p>This study reports a rare case of spontaneous salivary fistula in the External Auditory Canal (EAC) in a 19-year old female. The patient was initially diagnosed with Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Otorrhoea and treated in various hospitals in India over a period of six years. However, the patient’s symptoms did not improve with any modality of treatment. We diagnosed the patient to have a salivary fistula with a simple bedside test, using an oral methylene blue dye. The patient was successfully treated with surgery, which included EAC drilling.</p>
