<p>Supply chain disruptions increase information volume to be processed. Data analytics capability (DAC) effectively enhances the information processing capability, thus influencing resilience. How DAC, as a contingency factor, influences supply chain disruption orientation (SCDO) and resilience in inter-organizational governance has not been fully revealed. Using organizational information processing theory (OIPT), this research investigates the connections between SCDO, supply chain governance (encompassing contractual governance and relational governance), firm’s resilience, and the moderating role of DAC in these associations. Furthermore, survey data gathered from 375 Chinese manufacturing companies were employed, and a partial least squares structural equation modeling was adopted for data analysis. The results reveal that SCDO positively affects both contractual and relational governance. Unlike relational governance, contractual governance does not affect firm’s resilience. DAC’s moderating effect is only insignificant in the relationship between contractual governance and firm’s resilience. This study enriches OIPT by expanding that supply chain governance is a management approach, while DAC is an organizational capability approach. It further proposes that SCDO is the driving factor of supply chain governance. Moreover, it sheds lights on the employment of DAC in building resilience.</p>
