This review paper precisely focuses on exploring different enclosure shapes filled with a homogeneous media where natural convection serves as the primary mode of heat transfer. The investigation delves into the impact of several parameters, including the type of heat sources, thermal conditions of the boundary, Rayleigh number (Ra), Prandtl number (Pr), inclination angle, among others. Additionally, the current analysis incorporates the examinations of entropy generations within the systems to optimize their efficiency.</p>
