Millimeter-wave ultra-wideband log-periodic microstrip array antenna with frequency-selective surfaces

In this research paperwork, three ultra-wideband (UWB) millimeter wave (mmWave) 103 GHz log-periodic microstrip antenna arrays have been designed when antenna gain needed to be more significant in each model than in the previous one. The final model used frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) to increase the antenna gain. The simulation results of antenna design 1, which was designed with the CST MWS simulator, were compared with the simulation with an Ansys HFSS simulator, and the simulation results achieved from both simulators were in fair concurrence.
