Comparative assessment of physico-chemical parameters and trace of micro bacteriological parameter for southern regions groundwater bodies of Ranchi India
摘要
Groundwater plays a significant role of every life support system. The safeguard of potable water is essential to compensate for body water loss and to ensure good general health. Increased anthropogenic activity, excessive fertilizer use, and rock weathering all contribute to groundwater contamination. In this present study, the assessments of water sample for the southern region of Ranchi plateau of Jharkhand have been made in regards of physico-chemical, bacteriological and heavy metal parameters. The local population in the Ranchi Plateau region depends on surface and groundwater for irrigation and potable use. The characteristics of the groundwater in the southern part of Jharkhand, India's Ranchi plateau have been studied through statistical analysis of a number of parameters. Authors have used different methods/instruments for analysis the physical parameter whereas IS: 3025 methods of sampling were used to analyze the chemical parameters for different water samples of Ranchi plateau, Jharkhand, India. Various statistical analyses, such as correlation coefficients and one-way ANOVA, are also employed to investigate the variation of different physical and chemical parameters for water resources. The obtained results of all parameters are within the acceptable limits of IS: 10500-2012. The obtained WQI results are suitable for domestic and agricultural purpose after appropriate treatment. A t-test is also used to determine how one study differs from others. The observed physical and chemical analyses are applied to maintain the water quality and management.
