<p><i>Figure 4</i> (on page 397) of the above article had an inadvertent error. Genotype (<i>ClB</i>/+ + +) and phenotype (Heterozygous Bar eye) of the female fly in the bottom-left cell of the Punnett square for the F2 progeny in the published figure were incorrect. The correct genotype (+ + +/+ + +) and phenotype (Normal eye) of the female in the bottom-left cell of the Punnett square for the F2 progeny are as shown in the amended <i>Figure 4</i> below.</p><p>Author regrets this error and thanks the alert reader for pointing this out.</p>
