<p>The morphological properties of sugarcane, which influence juice quality and bagasse composition, are not fully understood. This study investigates the influence of sugarcane genotypes on the juice quality and bagasse composition for industrial application. Nine sugarcane genotypes (SCG) (including RB 867515 (Control), CTC 15, CTC 9004, CTC 9005, RB 015935, RB 965902, RB 975201, RB 975242, and RB 935744) were cultivated in a field with similar environmental conditions (soil and climate). At twelve months, the sugarcane genotypes’ morphological and technological potential were evaluated. All SCG showed good adaptation and productivity (82–111 ton/ha). Morphological characterisations revealed significant variations in culm height (CH) and internode numbers (NI). Sugarcane juice and bagasse from different genotypes differ in their composition. Sugarcane genotypes hosted diverse yeast microbiota. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) shows the correlation between morphological attributes and physiological properties. PCA showed that culm diameter (CD) is positively correlated to Total Sugars (mainly, sucrose); and NI is positively correlated to RS (glucose + fructose). The findings contribute to make educated decision and/or the prediction of sugarcane juice and bagasse characteristics based on morphological characteristics of sugarcane.</p>
