<p>Dispute settlement is a key tool to ensure the application of Energy Community legislation, also in the field of the environment. Through several dispute settlement procedures, different experiences have been gained from this field, with diverging results and outcomes. In the present paper, we present a brief overview of the procedure, along with a selection of cases from the past years, with related experiences and certain proposals.</p>

Dispute settlement is a key tool to ensure the application of Energy Community legislation, also in the field of the environment.
