Le rôle du BENELUX dans la négociation des accords de SCHENGEN
摘要
The Schengen Agreements initially resulted from a bilateral agreement between France and Germany. The Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) brought to this initiative the experience of more than 25 years of cooperation in a territory without internal border controls. This analysis covers the period from the negotiation of the Schengen agreements to the integration of the Schengen acquis into the European Union by the Treaty of Amsterdam.
