摘要

Industry 4.0 technology deployments have been perceived to enhance the quality of the product and streamline production operations. An escalation in productivity is a fundamental need in the manufacturing industry, for which rapid advancements in manufacturing processes, technologies, and applications are desired. Unfortunately, so far, there is no clear and widespread awareness of Industry 4.0 in the manufacturing industries of developing nations. The study used in this paper analyses an exhaustive literature review regarding the execution of Industry 4.0. Considering Industry 4.0’s overall transformative phase, this examination considers the dearth of the implementation framework of Industry 4.0 in emerging economies scenarios. This article aims to cultivate the Industry 4.0 implementation framework and its validation through highly experienced specialists from prestigious manufacturing industries of emerging economies employing the Delphi technique. Additionally, it discusses recommendations for future work, including contemplating the results of the investigation.
