<p>In the present work, we develop a functional calculus for <InlineEquation ID="IEq4"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\rho _n\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <msub> <mi>ρ</mi> <mi>n</mi> </msub> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-contractions utilizing the <InlineEquation ID="IEq5"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\rho _n\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <msub> <mi>ρ</mi> <mi>n</mi> </msub> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-unitary dilation. As a consequence, we obtain a functional calculus applicable to certain operator classes, in particular to power-bounded operators.</p>

摘要

In the present work, we develop a functional calculus for \(\rho _n\) ρ n -contractions utilizing the \(\rho _n\) ρ n -unitary dilation. As a consequence, we obtain a functional calculus applicable to certain operator classes, in particular to power-bounded operators.
