<p>In this paper, we investigate an inverse problem (IP) for abstract functional differential inclusions (DI). We use the overdetermined condition to identify the unknown parameter. We use the optimal control (OC) method to prove the existence of the solution to the considered IP. The characterisation of the limit of the sequence of approximate solutions demonstrates that it is a solution to the original IP under certain hypotheses. Furthermore, we present an example to support our findings.</p>
