<p>This article presents a collaborative archaeological research conducted with the Mosetén community of Asunción de Quiquibey (Bolivia) as part of the project Heritage and Territoriality: Past and Future Perceptions among the Tacana, Tsimane’, Mosetén, and Waiwai. Using an interdisciplinary and decolonial methodology, scientific and Indigenous knowledge is articulated with the active participation of the T’simane’-Mosetén Regional Council. The study emphasizes the leading role of community researchers in decision-making, cultural mediation, the production of situated knowledge, and the construction of collective memory. It highlights the challenges and prospects of community archaeology during the excavation of the archaeological site of Chañes Jinak.</p>
