摘要

Insect fossils from the Lower Cretaceous (Albian) Jinju Formation are mainly known from major localities: Jeongchon, Sacheon and Gunwi. Among them, fossils from Gunwi section are largely unstudied; We collected there and report here new cockroaches, both previously reported species from the same formation and new taxa, Elongatoblatta minsuki gen. et sp. n., Elisama gwanghyeoni sp. n., and Vrtula gwanghyeonensis sp. n. Moreover, taphonomic and taxonomic comparisons of cockroaches from Jeongchon and Gunwi sections are discussed. Implications of elongated ovipositor in newly discovered winged adult female individual of Juramantis jinjuensis Vršanský, Lee, Sohn, Vršanská, Jang et Nam, 2025 are proposed.
