摘要

Persis (Eritalaena) Fennah, 1952 is a monotypic subgenus comprising the species Persis (Eritalaena) fuscinervis Muir, 1918, originally described from Guyana (South America). In this study, we redescribe the genus and its sole species, incorporating additional diagnostic characters. We also provide, for the first time, photographs and detailed illustrations of the morphology of both males and females, and we expand the known distribution of the group with new records from Central America (Costa Rica) and South America (Brazil).
