Albumin-based pH and salt-induced dispersive micro-solid-phase extraction of pesticide residues in grape juice combined with deep eutectic solvent-based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction

This work reports the application of albumin as a cost-effective and competent adsorbent in dispersive solid-phase microextraction procedure for the extraction and preconcentration of four frequently applied pesticides (triticonazole, tebuconazole, difenoconazole, and penconazole) in grape juice samples. The extracted and enriched analytes quantification was done by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. After extraction of the analytes, they were more concentrated by a dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction using deep eutectic solvents. The experimental variables impressed the offered method such as the amount of sorbent, and ionic strength, elution solvent nature, and volume were optimized. The proposed method offered precise determination of the selected pesticides in grape juice samples with proper repeatability (relative standard deviation ≤ 5.6%) and low limits of detection and quantification (0.03–0.11 and 0.09–0.36 ng mL−1, respectively). Ultimately, the developed method was successfully employed to determine the pesticide residues in grape juice samples.
