<p>This study is about investigation of rust spots on pre-painted galvalume (PPGL) surface. The PPGL sandwich panel samples were collected from an end customer and investigated using scanning electron microscopy. The investigation revealed the nature of rust spots and the depth of the rust on PPGL surface. The major breakthrough is about identifying the precursors of the rust and the processes that contribute to the rust formation. Study also helps by recommending suitable methods to prevent the rust formation.</p>

摘要
