Effect of Multi-stage Solution Treatment on Precipitates in FB2 Steel
摘要
Precipitates are an important part of 9Cr1.5Mo1CoB (FB2) steel, which significantly affects mechanical properties, structural thermal stability, and durability. The effect of five types of multi-stage solid solution (referred as Q1 ~ Q5) and five types of multi-stage solid solution + tempering heat treatment processes (referred as Q1-TT ~ Q5-TT) on the precipitates were investigated. The precipitates were extracted by electrolytic extraction. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and x-ray diffraction were used to study the type, morphology, size, quantity, and other characteristics of the precipitates. The results show that with the increase of the final solution temperature (from Q1 to Q3), the volume fraction and quantity density of the precipitates decrease and the homogenization degree of the matrix increase. The average diameter of the tempered precipitates decreases, the volume fraction and quantity density increase (from Q1-TT to Q3-TT). The average diameters, volume fractions, and quantity densities of the precipitates of Q4 and Q5 are larger than those of the precipitates of Q3. The average diameters of the precipitates of Q4-TT and Q5-TT are larger than those of Q3-TT, and the volume fractions and quantity densities of the precipitates are smaller than those of Q3-TT.
