Research on Shape Accuracy and Mechanical Properties of Hollow Blade Formed with Different Surfaces by SS304 Tube with Sand Mandrel
摘要
Both the position accuracies and mechanical properties should be taken into account in the processing of hollow blade, but these accuracies and properties are greatly restricted by the processing efficiency and temperatures. In this paper, a rapid forming method is developed to form both simple and complex surfaces of hollow blades by stainless steel tube with sand mandrel which is less affected by the temperature. The results show that the position accuracy of complex blade surface is less than that of simple blade surface, and the errors in both surfaces are still less than 0.3 mm. At the same time, with the mechanical properties both improved, the grain refinement ratios after forming on simple and complex surfaces are 33.43% and 39.06%, respectively. The increase in mechanical properties of the complex blade surface is greater than that of the simple blade surface due to the more severe deformation. Based on the position accuracies remained and mechanical properties improved, a new forming method with sand mandrel for the hollow blade pressing is provided for the following researchers as a feasible strategy.
