Synthesis and Photoluminescence in K5La(MoO4)4: Ln3+ (Ln = Tb, Er) Green-Emitting Phosphor for Optoelectronic Applications

We report a series of singly-doped K5La(MoO4)4:Er3+, Tb3+ phosphors synthesized by a solid-state reaction (SSR) method and their structural and luminescence properties. Powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD) confirmed the phase and trigonal crystal structure with the R3m(#166) space group. Photoluminescence spectra of the as synthesized phosphors demonstrated a strong green emission with an intense peak at 545 nm (5D4 → 7F5) upon excitation of 281 nm for Tb3+ ions and at 525 nm (2H11/2
