摘要

This work strives to promote uniform solidification in strip casting by engineering the distribution of deposited films and air gaps. Through a shot-peening-induced dimple texture on the Cr coating, periodic interfacial micro-regions were constructed during high-silicon electrical steel solidification. Network-like deposited films formed along protrusions and sidewalls, whereas particulate deposits remained at dimple bottoms. Compared with the smooth Cr coating, this ordered interface reduced heat transfer heterogeneity and improved grain size uniformity.
