Assessing Element Transfer Behaviors in the Weld Metal of EH36 Shipbuilding Steel: A Case Study into CaF2–MnO–CaO–SiO2 Fluxes
摘要
As the CaO/SiO2 ratio is varied from 0.25 to 1.25 with fixed CaF2 at 20 mass pct, the transferred amounts of O and Si decrease from 590 to 350 ppm and 0.234 to − 0.011 mass pct, respectively. The transferred amount of Mn increases from − 0.311 to 0.395 mass pct due to enhanced activity of MnO, despite being fixed at 20 mass pct MnO.
