Understanding the Variant Pairing Effect on Yield Strength and Plasticity in Bainitic Steels
摘要
We have addressed here the significance of high angle variant pairs with respect to Hall–Petch (H–P) relationship and plasticity, and proposed a modification to the H–P relationship based on a high-strength bainitic steel. The H–P coefficient (ky) and plasticity is closely related to the slip transmission factor (N) and the theoretical analysis indicated that the largest N values were obtained for V1/V2 and V1/V7 pairs, whereas the minimum occurred in V1/V9&19 and V1/V15&23 pairs.
