On the Changes of Residual Stress States of S550MC + 100Cr6 Cladded Steel Upon Tensile Deformation
摘要
The present study focuses on the evolution of residual stress (RS) and internal damage of a S550MC + 100Cr6 cladded steel after pre-deformation. Deformation-induced internal porosity was hardly found. RS depth profiles point at tensile RS in the 100Cr6 clad layer. These are most pronounced when minor pre-deformation levels are considered. A higher degree of deformation leads to reduced magnitudes of RS. This can be rationalized based on reduced differences in layer strength due to local strain hardening.
