<p>This article of the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie aims to theoretically demonstrate that supervision without a&#xa0;humanistic concept of human beings fails to fulfil an important mission. It aims to convey that all social interaction is characterised by acceptance of personal freedom and dignity of others, which excludes any form of paternalism and includes responsibility for every action. It will be presented and illustrated how protagonist-centred psychodramatic supervision is a&#xa0;method that best meets these requirements of conveying a&#xa0;humanistic view of humanity.</p>
