<p>This article of the Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie presents an expert interview on the theme “protagonist”. In preparation for this interview the theme “protagonist” was divided into three subthemes: protagonist choice, protagonist play and integration phase. Questions were formulated on these subthemes and sent in a&#xa0;serial email-format to the interviewees. Six experienced psychodramatists answered these questions. The result is a&#xa0;multifaceted and differentiated main article on the theme “protagonist”.</p>
