摘要

This article, published in the journal Zeitschrift für Psychodrama und Soziometrie, addresses intergenerational justice, a central issue in the societal discourse on the distribution and depletion of resources and the safeguarding of freedoms. Today’s actions will have a significant impact on the living conditions of future generations and may violate fundamental rights such as the right to life and physical integrity, which are embedded in the German Basic Law. Despite various efforts to protect fundamental rights, scientific predictions about the future of current and future generations are increasingly alarming. Political measures remain insufficient to meet environmental and climate targets, such as those outlined in the Paris Agreement. To achieve long-term intergenerational justice within planetary boundaries, a profound socio-ecological transformation will be necessary.
