Virtual Reality Coaching: Einstellungen und Erwartungen von Klient:innen im Licht von Potenzialen und Grenzen der Technologie
摘要
Virtual Reality Coaching (VRC) combines established coaching methods with immersive technology, enabling clients to engage in intense experiences, adopt new perspectives, and experiment with alternative behaviors in realistic scenarios. A mixed-methods study reveals that the majority of participants are open and curious about VRC, especially due to the perceived closeness despite physical distance, the immersive depth, and the creative possibilities it offers. From the clients’ perspective, the potential benefits clearly outweigh the risks. For effective implementation, coaches must develop relevant competencies, and further research on effectiveness is needed.
