Beraten oder begleiten? Sprachanalytische Betrachtungen eines Berufsjargons
摘要
A look at the field of German-speaking consulting practice shows that the two terms consulting and accompaniment often occur together when discussing external support within the framework of development processes, as if the two could not exist without each other. Starting from the observation of the twin-like occurrence of these two terms, the article discusses the relevant differences, which can be seen especially regarding the understanding of intervention. As a result of the analyses, a plea is made for conceptual sensitivity and increased language awareness as an expression of professional consulting.
