摘要

Executive leadership excellence is often constraint by mighty inner shackles that seem resistant to change. Perfectionism, micromanagement, lack of empathy, “it’s never enough”, emotional escalations, addiction to recognition etc. are examples. Inner shackles can be successfully altered using a trauma-informed approach, processing these shackles as if they were survival strategies of early trauma. Relationships are key in trauma-informed approaches: the relationships of inner parts within the client, the client-context relationship and the client-coach relationship. Resonance and unavailability prove to be helpful concepts to design successful relationships for trauma-informed processes.
