<p>This article in the journal <i>Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation. (GIO)</i> explores how experts in organizations can gain new effectiveness through the large-group method Open Space Technology (OST). Starting from the observation that expert knowledge often remains without impact in organizational contexts, the article shows how OST creates participatory resonance spaces in which experts experience not only visibility but also agency. Using case studies, the article illustrates how new team dynamics emerge around experts in Open Spaces, how their topics gain traction, and how they shift from being “knowledge providers” to co-creative forces in transformation processes. The article integrates theoretical perspectives on expertise, resonance, and self-organization with practical insights from organizational development and concludes with a&#xa0;transfer section for both practitioners and researchers. The central question: Under what conditions does expertise become effective in organizations—and what role can OST play in enabling this?</p>
