Expertise werdender Pflegefachpersonen an der Schwelle zur Verantwortungsübernahme
摘要
This article in the journal ‘Gruppe. Interaktion. Organisation. (GIO)’ focuses on observations of team dynamics between trainee and established nursing professionals when contributing expertise within nursing facilities. In Germany, in accordance with the Nursing Professions Act, nursing professionals in training are now prioritised with cross-disciplinary personal skills (e.g. communication skills). Nevertheless, many drop out of training prematurely. One reason for this is the transition shock—an emotionally stressful state of overload caused by a role conflict in practice. In this context, it is well known what a positive influence team integration measures and the experience of self-efficacy can have. Nevertheless, a minefield of potential conflicts continues to lurk, especially in transition phases in practice. Due to their strongly personnel-oriented education, prospective nursing professionals experience their professional expertise and communicate it accordingly. This, in turn, is often perceived as alienating by established colleagues. The article explains the role that transformational leadership qualities and organisational change can play in conflict resolution and how they can help to bring together diverse expertise in care facilities.
