摘要

This theoretical contribution to the Group, Interaction, Organization, Journal of Applied Organizational Psychology (GIO) argues that asymmetrical relationships in psychiatry can promote moral deviance. Such deviations from desirable behavior can include communication lapses, coercion, inappropriate use of force, and even abuse. The question addressed by this original paper is how relationships between staff and users can be improved through technology. Applications of artificial intelligence (AI) can provide positive input here, as they sustainably relieve staff in times of skilled labor shortages and free up resources for trusting communication with users. However, the effective introduction of AI requires “strategic thinking” and organizational development methods as prerequisites.
