Im Kontext permanenter Beschleunigung – Felddynamiken in agilen Teams
摘要
This article in the journal Gruppe. Interaction. Organization. (GIO) considers the team-dynamic effects of agile practices in software development. Today, IT companies face an environment characterized by high technological dynamics, short time-to-market cycles, and growing pressure to adapt. Agile working methods are seen as the answer to these challenges and promise responsive, self-organized teamwork. However, under conditions of permanent acceleration, tensions emerge that go beyond the methodological level and deeply affect the social dynamics of agile teams. Two central moments of order are identified: situational order through agile practices and temporal order through temporal compression. The article critically reflects on the effects these field specifics have on teamwork—for example, in the form of flattened communication, limited reflection and fragile social cohesion.
