Inference on extropy of ranked set samples

In this paper , we discuss the estimation of extropy of ranked set sample of the study variable Y in which an auxiliary variable X is used to rank the units in each set, under the assumption that (X, Y) follows Morgenstern type bivariate generalized exponential distribution. The maximum likelihood estimators and Bayes estimates of extropy are obtained. Bayes estimators are obtained using squared error loss function, linear-exponential loss function, and entropy loss function. We also consider the estimation of discrimination information measure between ranked set sample and parent distribution. A real data set is also used for illustration.
