摘要

In this work, we consider coherent systems built of components with independent identically distributed (iid) lifetimes with the same number of components in minimal paths. We present a hypothesis that such a system with iid components preserves increasing failure rate (IFR) property. It means that if components have the IFR property, then the system does. Our investigations allow us to present three cases of system construction in which the hypothesis is true.
