This work describes the fabrication of a nanocomposite polymer electrolyte system incorporating sodium iodide (NaI) with poly (ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA) and carbon black as a nanofiller, for its astounding electrochemical capabilities and environmental resilience. The solid polymer electrolyte was synthesized via solution casting method, and its characteristics were thoroughly investigated using a variety of analytical techniques.
